Engineer - Illinois
BS in Chemical or Environmental Engineering,
or equivalent technical degree. Must have hands-on
environmental experience from chemical plants and related.
Knowledge of Federal and State regulations relative to air,
water and solid wastes; auditing skills. Strong
communication skills to interact with plant staff and
management, governmental agencies, and community. Ability to
work in a complex working environment, with multiple-site
responsibility. Ability to comprehend, analyze and
understand legal aspects of legislation and develop
compliance programs to decrease environmental liabilities.
Able to travel 35% mostly by car. Must be local to the south
Chicago area! 3+ years experience
