Director of Emergency Management - Yale

Yale University is seeking an experienced professional to head the
University's Emergency Management function, with responsibility for the
planning and management of the overall response to campus emergencies.
This includes developing and revising emergency preparedness, disaster
recovery, and business continuity documentation and policies, and
implementing related training; working with state and national agencies
to coordinate emergency plans and procedures; and training personnel on
emergency plans and procedures.
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's
degree in Emergency Management, Business Administration, Health and
Safety, or another related field and at least 10 years of administrative
experience. Experience in the development and presentation of
training seminars and programs; strong public speaking, presentation,
written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills are also
required. A Master's degree, experience working in higher
education, strategic planning experience, and professional development
training certifications in Emergency Management from FEMA, NEMA, or
related agencies are preferred.
