Health & Safety Manager - North Carolina
Large Hospital Group
Seeks Senior EHS Manager, JCAHO experience preferred.
Located in North Carolina, our client is a major health
care provider that manages a group of about 20
hospitals. Under limited direction of Corporate Safety
Director, manages various specialty environmental,
health and safety programs (i.e. hazardous waste, blood
borne pathogens, lock out tag out, permit required
confined space, hazard communication, emergency
management, asbestos, ergonomics, and respiratory
protection, etc.). Serves as senior technical
resource and subject matter expert to management,
facilities and safety officers. Coordinates
organizational activities and programs to assist
compliance with regulatory agency standards.
Develops and presents technical training programs.
Develops and conducts general and specialized
environmental, health & safety audits and surveys to
identify, measure, and evaluate known and potential
hazards. Coordinates actions among various
departments and facilities to implement corrective
actions.
