Chemical Manufacturing facility in
Columbus, GA. needs HS&E Leader
Chemical Manufacturing facility has an open position in the Columbus,
Georgia location for an HS&E Leader. This position is
responsible for leading the site’s HS&E program and ensuring
regulatory compliance and reporting requirements are met. Position
duties will include: foster safety excellence by building
relationships with plant team and mentoring best practices; conduct
required safety training and maintain employee training database; manage
environmental compliance reporting; steward site emergency response
program; and maintain a principle role in the site’s PHMP (Process
Hazard Management Program).
Applicants will have a BS in Chemical or Safety Engineering or a minimum
of five years experience in an environmental or safety related field.
Experience in a chemical manufacturing and distribution setting
preferred.
