Loss Control Consultant - Georgia / Alabama

Workers’ compensation insurance company is seeking a Field Loss Control Consultant to be responsible for the Southern Georgia and Alabama region.

Our total focus is on controlling workers compensation costs through a professional staff that is conversant in every facet of workers compensation insurance.  Our product is available exclusively through independent agents. This mutual commitment between agents and company has contributed dramatically to our success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct investigations, inspections and handle the underwriting/safety surveys of accounts.
• Identify exposures and provide written recommendations.
• Consult with accounts on evaluating loss trends and when necessary implement professional intervention and positive preventive measures.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with the clients, underwriting and other service teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of laws and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communicator, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, employees, management and government officials as needed.
• Able to use electronic and computerized technology as required.
• Able to analyze, interpret and help develop graphs, charts, programs and trends.
• Bachelor’s or Associates degree with at least 1 year of experience in safety management, regulatory auditing/compliance or insurance commercial risk surveying is preferred.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) in addition to 2 years of experience in safety Management, regulatory auditing/compliance or insurance commercial risk surveying is required.
• All applicants must hold a valid/active state issued class “E” Driver’s license.
