Safety Representative - Maryland
Consulting engineering and
architectural firm seeking Project Construction Safety Representative to
work on jobsite in Fort Meade, MD area.
Primary functions are to protect and enforce the client regarding safety
policies, procedures and activities and to administer the review of and
the oversight of Contractor's Safety program and the execution of the
firm's safety program on the jobsite. Requirements: 5 yrs experience in
construction safety. Ability and willingness to work all shifts and a
minimum of 6 days/week or as assigned. Ability to review and
understand specifications & drawings. Good interpersonal
communications skills and strong computer and organization skills a
must. OSHA 10-hr Construction Outreach Program and must possess a
current CPR and First Aid Certification. Certifications CSP/CIH/CHST/OHST
a plus. Em385-1-1 (USACE Safety Manual) experience preferred.
Must possess a valid driver's license. Physical ability to stand
or walk for prolonged periods of time, able to climb ladders, stairs,
ramps unassisted.
