Site Safety Manager
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
* Manage new hire Safety Orientation Program.
* Perform daily job site safety inspections.
* Record and manage all Site safety documentation.
* Participate in Claims Management Process.
* Provide weekly written reports.
* Facilitate return to work program with employees, medical
professionals, and project personal.
* Assist and or facilitate required weekly tailgate safety meetings.
* Provides job specific safety training as needed.
* Manage Job Hazard Analysis Program.
* Manage Safety Incentive Program.
* Manage and coordinate substance abuse testing.
* Participate in fact finding, Root Cause Analysis for injury/incident
investigations.
* Perform other duties as assigned or as may be necessary.
Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree and or 3-5 related comparable construction safety
experience.
* Good computer skills, valid California Drivers License, self-starter,
and positive attitude.
* Professional demeanor.
* Technical as well as practical knowledge of basic construction safety
laws, i.e., OSHA, Hazmat, crane safety, and excavation safety.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to both
tradesmen and management.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* OSHA 10 or 30 hr. preferred.
* Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written.
