Director for a Property and Casualty Insurance Company in
Vermont.
Our client is a Regional Property and Casualty Commercial
Insurance Company home based in New England. Due to
profitable growth we are seeking a Loss Control Director
for the Vermont Regional Office. This position will have 3
direct reports. Responsibilities for this position
include, planning, organizing, leading, motivating, and
directing the effective operation of the loss control
department. The person in this position, will develop and
train staff, work with branch managers to develop the
budget, and work with other departments to ensure quality,
timely service and assist in technical matters relating to
loss control. Our ideal candidate will have a bachelors
degree and ten years of loss control experience, including
at least three years in a supervisory position. ARM or
ALCM designation is preferred. Excellent verbal, written
and organizational skills are required. Regular travel is
required, including minor overnight travel. Excellent
employee oriented company, with an AM Best rating of A
plus.
