SUMMARY
Monitor the ramp personnel for compliance with all ASIG, BBA, local airport as well as local customer safety and security policies and procedures.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

Comply with the Location’s attendance/tardiness standards.

Able to meet the Station’s attendance standards.

Confer with management to gain knowledge of work situation requiring training for employees to understand policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies.

Report on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.

Tests trainees to measure progress and evaluate effectiveness of training.

Portray & communicate Company Mission, Vision, & Values to ramp employees.

Monitor the compliance of all ASIG ramp personnel with the safety and security policies and procedures.  These policies and procedures to include but are not limited to:
• All BBA Aviation HS&E Programs
• All ASIG TOTAL Training Programs
• All ASIG SSP Procedures
• All local customer fueling programs
• All relevant/location specific customer ramp operation programs, policies and procedures
• All local airport security policies and procedures
• All local, state, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures

Promptly address improper, incorrect, and/or unsafe actions & recognize correct & positive behavior. 

Identify potential hazards/risks and report them to management.

Make introduction during the course of New Hire Orientation program.

Support OJT Mentor program through regular communication with HS&E/Training Staff & Station Management

Perform Safety Observations of ramp employees.
 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Driver's License.
