Safety Manager in Sacramento to Modesto area CSP preferred
Regional Safety Manager for all Northern California
branches with management and implementation of all aspects
of company's safety program. This will include maintaining
Branch safety manuals, conducting branch and site safety
audits, conducting safety training, developing
activity specific Job Safety Analysis documents and Health
and Safety Plans, tracking Training Mine status of branch
employees, coordinating and conducting monthly Branch
Safety Meetings. Ensuring
subcontractors are in compliance with company's Health and
Safety policies and procedures, participating in regional
safety meetings / conference calls, and other duties as
necessary.
BS/BA in Environmental Science or related field, Master's
degree a plus. A minimum of 5+ years of experience,
excellent communications skills and a demonstrated
proficiency with MS Office suite of applications. CSP
(Certified Safety Professional), Occupational Health and
Safety or similar degree The Position could be located in
Modesto, Sacramento or Pleasanton Offices. When applying,
