Line Safety Inspector - Kentucky
FOX Engineering is
actively seeking three (3) qualified personnel for
safety inspection services on the construction of
70-miles of a 20” pipeline in Eastern Kentucky.
The safety professionals will possess the following
qualifications, knowledge and/or experience required in
the following areas:
29 CFR 1910 and 1926 “Competent Person”
Handling, Storing, and Moving Pipe
Excavations, Trenching and Shoring
Mobile Cranes, Lifting and Rigging Equipment
Earthmoving Machinery
Logging, Clear-Cutting and Grubbing
Blasting
Welding, Burning, Cutting
Compressed Gas Storage
Hot Work Permitting
Fire Safety
Lock Out / Tag Out
Natural Gas Liquids
Hand and Powered Tools
Hazard Communication
Direct-Reading Instrumentation
Risk Assessments
Audits and Inspections
“Tool-Box-Talk” Style Safety Meetings
Confined Space Entry
Personal Protective Equipment Assessments
Scaffolding
Fall Protection
Additionally, the qualified safety professionals must be
able to communicate with all levels of management and be
able stop work and address unsafe behaviors and
conditions. The duties of these individuals may
include:
1. Conduct construction safety training as requested and
participate in “Tool-Box-Talk” meetings.
2. Assist with the development and review of each
site-specific safety plan.
3. Perform daily site safety inspections to ensure
compliance and provide results of the inspections to the
project manager and keep daily activities log including
auditing and inspection activities.
4. Immediately address any safety issues that may result
in injury or loss.
The compensation includes a comprehensive benefits
package, per diem and housing providing when overnight
stays are required, competitive salary, and company
vehicle.
