AAS - Online Degree in Fire Science The Associate of Applied Science in Fire Science degree available from Columbia Southern University is intended to provide to students both General Studies and Technical Training. In addition to general studies, students take courses in Introduction to Fire Protection, Introduction to Fire Prevention, Principles of Fire Behavior, Building Construction for Fire Protection, Fire Protection Systems and Fire Protection Hydraulics and Water Supply. A high school diploma or GED is required for admission into the program. The student must also have Internet access and an email account. CSU allows maximum transfer credit for your prior academic credit, training, and relevant professional licenses and certifications.
