Telcom Construction Inc is a fast growing national underground utility
company seeking a high qualified Safety Manager to be based in our
Clearwater Minnesota office.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
*Support, create, and enforce effective safety policies and processes to
assure the ultimate safety to our employees, the public, company assets,
and compliance with all required standards.
*Conduct and document site audit visits to recognize safe work habits as
well as identify opportunities for training and improvement.
*Monitor, train, and enforce Company drivers in all areas of DOT Safety
and Compliance standards. Will be involved with qualification of
drivers and vehicles.
*Educate and support all levels of employees in best practices in all
areas of Safety and accident prevention.
*Conduct, document and support accident investigations. Monitor
return to work programs and coordinate treatment and insurance claims
processes.
*Maintain records to assure compliance with all Local, State, and
Federal standards including OSHA, and DOT requirements.
Requirements:
Education: 4 year degree or equivalent in Construction Management,
Construction Engineering, or Occupational Safety.
Additional and current OSHA certifications for both General Industry and
Construction standards.
Additional certifications and experience in DOT Safety and Compliance
Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
Travel will be required as required by needs of the Company
Compensation:
Salary will be dependent on qualifications and substantiated
success in similar positions. Competitive benefits packages are
