Construction Safety Professional

We are looking for a qualified safety professionals with construction experience in Ohio.    These site safety positions require at least 5 years construction safety experience and an OSHA 30-hour certification.  A degreed professional is preferred. Major Duties shall include but not limited to:
• Conduct daily safety and health inspections and maintain a written log which includes area/operation inspected, date of inspection, identified hazards, recommended corrective actions, estimated and actual dates of corrections.
• Conduct and document Jobsite Safety Observations
• Conduct daily contractor safety orientation
• Prepare and deliver safety toolbox talks and safety training topics
• Conduct mishap investigations and complete required reports.
• Maintain the OSHA Form 300 and safety training records for prime and sub-contractors.
• Maintain applicable safety reference materials and programs on the job site.
• Inventory and order safety supplies and materials as needed
• Attend the pre-construction conferences, pre-work meetings including preparatory inspection meetings, and periodic in-progress meetings.
• Prepare, implement and enforce Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Activities Hazard Analysis (AHAs).
• Maintain a safety and health deficiency tracking system that monitors outstanding deficiencies until resolution.
• Ensure sub-contractors compliance with safety and health requirements.
• Issue safe work permits for contractor personnel
