Construction Safety and Health Professional - Richland, Washington area 

SUMMARY:

Fowler General Construction & Project Support Services is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable CONSTRUCTION SAFETY & HEALTH PROFESSIONAL. We are located in Richland WA.

JOB DUTIES/REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Responsible for preparing Job Hazard Analysis, conducting regular job site and work area inspections, review and approve critical lifts, verify calculations and load charts, provide field oversight for crane activities, review lock and tag, confined spaces, fall protection, excavation, and trenching activities prior to performance, ensure contractor compliance, develop and implement program policies and procedures, conduct employee safety trainings, conduct accident investigations, participate in Safety committee activities, and participate in emergency response activities..

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: 

Bachelor of Arts/Science degree with 6 years safety-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Must have working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926, and WISHA.  Good interpersonal skills are required to interface with numerous organizations. Qualification as a Certified Health and Safety Technician (CHST), or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is highly desirable.  Must be able to meet badging requirements for a nuclear site.
